There are no dumb questions.
Just curious ones.
Is your facility accessible via public transportation? Biking? Walking?
Is parking available?
Is your facility wheelchair accessible?
Unfortunately our building does not have wheelchair access. If you have mobility issues, please contact us and we will try our best to accomodate your needs.
Is a makeup class a possibility?
In the event of a cancellation (i.e. due to inclement weather) parents will be notified ahead of time and a make-up date will be scheduled. However, make-ups are not available if your child was absent from a class.
My child has allergies. Is your staff trained in first aid?
We ask that parents fill out a form ahead of time to let us know of any allergies their child has, and to bring their EpiPen with them to class if their allergies are severe. Our staff is first aid trained and CPR certified to administer it in the event of an emergency.
Curious-on-Hudson is a nut-free environment (instructor personalities excluded!)
Do you accept children with special needs into your classes?
This is determined on a case-to-case basis. If you have a child with special needs we’d be happy to discuss it with you. Please e-mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org with your concerns.
I found a great program for my child but her age doesn't fit the requirment. Could you make an exception?
If your child is on the cusp of the program’s suggested age range, we are open to discuss it with you. This is judged on a class-to-class basis. Certain programs require certain skills, such as reading skills or comfort working with power tools. Please use our contact form for further inquiry.
What is your refund policy?
Cancellations made more than 3 weeks before the start of a class/camp are refundable at 100%. Cancellations made less than 3 weeks of the start date are eligible for a 50% refund. Cancellations made less than 2 weeks are eligible for a 25% refund. Cancellations made less than one week before the start date or later or not eligible for refund.
