Project Based Learning is a teaching method in which students gain knowledge and skills by working for an extended period of time to investigate and respond to an authentic, engaging and complex question, problem, or challenge. – The Buck Institute for Education
The careers in the 21st Century require experience in THE 4 Cs; Creativity, Communication, Critical Thinking, and Collaboration. These skills cannot be automated, they are human skills only.
Curious-on-Hudson is really interested in having students get exposure to hands-on project based learning that challenges them to think critically and creatively, to work collaboratively and to learn to communicate effectively. Our STEAM programming provides students opportunities to use newly acquired knowledge and skills in ways that are practical and applicable to the real world, just like they would if they were working on real projects in the workforce.
Project Based Learning
teaches THE 4 Cs experientially.
